Updating the School Site Press logo
Updating the logo on your School Site Press website is going to be one of the first tasks you want to do.
In this tutorial we’ll show you how to upload your school logo and place it in the header.
Prepare your logo
First, you will need to resize your school logo. The maximum width 240px or the maximum height is 140px. If you need help resizing images, see this tutorial on resizing and optimising images using Pixlr.
When you have finished resizing your logo, make a note of the exact logo image dimensions, as you will them whe you edit the image logo module.
The image file types you can upload are jpg, png or svg.
SVG file type is the best file type. SVG stands for Scalable Vector Graphic and will look sharp on every device. If you have a jpg or png file, ensure the background is white.
Uploading your logo
Go to the Style Guide page on your website. The URL will look something like this:
your-school-site-press-domain.com.au/style-guide
Click Enable Visual Builder.
Once the page builder has loaded, scroll down to the Header Modules section.
Click the logo image and click the gear icon.
Click to select your image. Upload your image to the folder Theme Images.
When the image has uploaded add Alt Text, Title Text and Description Text to the image.
Next click the Design tab of the image module.
Then click the Sizing.
Under the sizing information enter the Max Width and Max Height dimensions. These dimensions are the exact width and height of your logo image. Note: Entering these dimensions ensures the logo sits flush to the left of the header bar.
Click the green tick to save the module changes.
Next click the purple button at the bottom centre.
Then click the green tick button to the right to save the page changes you just made.
Finally, click Exit Visual Builder top left.
